Nanomedicine is a relatively new field of science and technology. “Nanomedicine” is the science and technology
of diagnosing, treating, and preventing disease and traumatic injury, using nanoscale structured materials, drug
delivery for cancer treatment by enhancing build-ups of cytotoxicity in tumor tissue, specificity in tumor
targeting, reducing the cytotoxic side effects on normal cells, reducing systemic side effect, increasing drug
solubility, and increasing maximum tolerated dose, of relieving pain, and of preserving and improving human
health, biotechnology, genetic engineering and eventually complex machine systems and nonorobots.

Calcium Carbonate Nanoparticles/ Nanocalcite
Calcium carbonate nanoparticles/ Nanocalcite properties is highly porous, large surface area, high loading
capacity, biocompatible, biodegradable, , pH-dependent drug release, stimuli-responsive properties, it an
excellent candidate for loading and controlled release of various drugs. Calcium carbonate nanoparticles/
Nanocalcite is highly porous, has a large surface area which confer a high loading capacity.
Recently, there has been widespread interest in their application as drug delivery systems for different groups of
drugs. Among them, CaCO3 nanoparticles have exhibited promising potential as drug carriers targeting cancer
tissues and cells. calcium carbonate nanoparticles have been observed to be biocompatible for use in medicine,
pharmaceutical industries and drug delivery systems
